From the online form to the registered company – here is every step, what we need from you and what happens on our side. You can follow your case at any time on your own status page, and everything except the signature can be done remotely.
Our online form collects the essential data of your future company: the intended company name, the registered office, the activities, the members with their capital contributions, the managing directors and the registered capital. Filling it in takes about 10 minutes, it is free of charge and does not oblige you to anything. If you start and cannot finish, the form remembers your entries in your browser and offers to restore them when you return.
Right after submitting you receive a confirmation e-mail with your case reference and a personal link to your status page. Our first task is to check whether the chosen company name is available and complies with the requirements of Hungarian law – if a change is advisable, we contact you with suggestions.
Hungarian anti-money-laundering rules require the attorney to identify every member and every managing director before the work begins. In the confirmation e-mail each person concerned receives their own personal link to a short KYC form; if a member is also a managing director, one form is enough for them.
The form is completed online: the prefilled data is checked, the missing details are added (place and date of birth, mother's maiden name, citizenship, identity document), a declaration is made about beneficial ownership and politically exposed person status, and a copy of the identity documents is uploaded. On a phone the photos can be taken directly with the camera. Once submitted, the form is locked; if anything needs correcting, we re-open it for you.
The formation can only proceed once every person concerned has completed their identification – your status page shows at a glance how many of them are already done.
Based on your data you receive a personal quote by e-mail, itemising what the fee covers. Our prices are public in advance: the attorney fee depends on the company form, the procedure and the signing method, and the state costs and any additional fees are listed separately on our pricing page.
You can pay securely online by card through a personal payment link. The payment is handled by Stripe – your card details never reach us. When the payment is confirmed, the confirmation e-mail is sent automatically, and we issue the invoice and send it to you as a PDF attachment.
Some details are only needed for the registration itself, so we do not ask for them in the first form. Right after the payment is confirmed you receive an e-mail with a personal link to a secure form for these.
Here you declare the tax choices of the company (standard VAT rules or exemption, cash accounting, EU VAT number, the small business tax KIVA), the exchange rate to be applied, the company's official electronic delivery address and, optionally, its website; you tell us whether the registered office is also the place of central administration; you give the tax identification numbers of the members and directors; and you set the term of the directors' mandate and the mode of representation.
Once submitted, this form is locked as well, so the data we file cannot change unnoticed – contact us if anything needs to be corrected.
Based on the confirmed data the attorney's office prepares the complete set of incorporation documents: the articles of association (or deed of foundation for a single-member company), the specimen signature, the declarations of the managing directors, the list of members and the power of attorney for the registration procedure.
You receive every document in advance for review – bilingually where needed – so there are no surprises at signing.
Hungarian law requires the founding documents to be countersigned by an attorney, which involves the identification of the signatories. You can sign in person at our Budapest office, or – if you prefer not to travel – via video call with online identification conducted by the attorney.
The signing appointment usually takes less than an hour. With the signed power of attorney the attorney can act on your behalf in the entire registration procedure.
The attorney files the incorporation electronically with the competent court of registration. The company receives its tax number and EU VAT number upon registration, which typically takes only a few business days. The decision of the court appears on your status page as well.
After registration we assist you with the practical next steps: opening the mandatory Hungarian bank account, finding an accountant and fulfilling the first notifications.
The link to your status page arrives in the very first confirmation e-mail and remains valid throughout: it always shows which stage your case is at, how the identification forms stand and any note we have added. The link is personal – please do not forward it.
